Paediatric First Aid for Outdoor Learning - Blended

This Blended Paediatric First Aid Course, is the same as the FULL Paediatric First Aid for Outdoor learning, but split into e-learning and 1 day class based with the trainer.

This course includes looking at outside scenarios and is particularly well suited to Forest School practitioners and those providing outdoor learning. The course is OFQUAL regulated and has FAIB accreditation.

It is ideal for those needing to complete their two day first aid component required by the Forest School level three qualification, for those already qualified who need to renew their qualification, and for other professionals working with young children outdoors.

The course content is the same content as the FULL Paediatric First Aid Course with additional training for outdoor specific scenarios, outdoor incident management and looking after a casualty for more than 10 minutes.

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final exam. Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for three years.
