The Auto Injector & Anaphylaxis First Aid Training Course is for anyone who needs training in how and when to use an auto injector in the treatment of anaphylaxis.
The course is ideal for anyone who works in a child-care environment such as Childminders, Early Years staff, Nursery Staff, Teachers and Children’s Activity staff.
The Auto Injector & Anaphylaxis first aid training course will empower the candidate with the knowledge and understanding on the prevention, recognition and treatment of severe allergic reaction including the use of auto-injectors and CPR in their work environment.
This course covers:
• Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the First Aider
• How to record accidents and incidents
• Auto-injector – EpiPen & Emerade with practical activities
• Anaphylaxis – common causes, signs, symptom & treatment
• Communication & casualty care
• Unresponsive casualty management
• CPR
Related health & safety awareness Assessment & Certification There is no final exam for this course, as the trainer will carry out a continuous assessment through the session. A certificate is provided valid for 3 years.
